Also, I am certainly not trying to single any one person out, but I've noticed that in these challenges most of the participants start off strong as far as reading/reviewing the other entries. Once it gets toward the end, participation seems to taper off and a lot of great stories appear to go unread/unloved. I GET IT! We are all busy. Many of us simply don't have time to read every single story that is posted. Sometimes, a story is a genre we're just not interested in. I'm not saying that each participant is required to read/review every single entry... BUT an exchange is a community event and reading/reviewing the other entries is part of the experience. And I will go out on a limb and say it is pretty much mandatory to read/review the story/art that was made for you. This is a community and you get back what you put into it. Without participation, it is pretty much pointless. So, to the participants and those sitting on the sidelines - get in there and read some of these fics! Don't forget to give the fantastic artists their due! We've got some great offerings.
Maybe you don't know what to say? Don't feel intimidated. A well thought out review is always great, but a simple smiley face and a "great job" goes a long way.
