Apologies: I'm double-length and this is about a man on the moon, not the man in the moon, but as soon as I saw the prompt I had to use the song somehow!
Characters: Sam and Dean
Summary: Sam and Dean gaze at the moon and discuss conspiracy theories…sort of!
Disclaimer: I don’t own any of the characters, this is purely for fun. I've stolen some lyrics from REM here.

Drabble - Norwich and Porridge

Title: Norwich and Porridge
Author: jj1564
Rating: pg
Word Count: 100
Characters: Sam, Dean - and The Man from The Moon!
Summary: Sam and Dean meet a weird guy. Based on this old poem…
[Poem here]The man in the moon came down too soon,
and asked his way to Norwich;
He went by the south, and burnt his mouth
with eating cold plum porridge.

Disclaimer: I don’t own any of the characters, (except the man in the moon, I keep him in a jar on the shelf!) this is purely for fun.
Prompt: DEW – The Man on the Moon

“That is one creepy looking dude.” Dean nodded towards the man stumbling towards them.

It was late and the street outside the bar was empty; all they wanted was a hot meal and a cold beer.

“Can you help me?” The man mumbled as he approached them.

“Sure, if we can.” Sam answered, glancing at Dean. Up close, they noticed that the guy’s large round face was almost yellow, and his lips were blood-red.

“Can you tell me the way to Norwich?” he smiled wryly, adding “I have burnt my mouth.”

“How the…?” Dean asked.

“Damn that cold plum porridge.”
