1 And God saw that it was good.

3 And God separated the light from the darkness.
      “I’ll say,” Amara says.
4 And God called the light “day”, and the darkness he called “night.”

Prompt: Amara and/or backwards - DEW challenge on spn_bigpretzel. There's a standing stone at Groombridge, Sussex which if you walk round backwards three times brings good luck. I amended it slightly for fiction purposes!
Disclaimer: The characters do not belong to me, this is for fun only!

Amara had to admit that her brother had created humans very well, with their endless capacity to love, care, imagine, create and believe. And wasn’t it something that many of them chose NOT to believe in their creator?

Kicking off her shoes, she felt the damp grass under her toes. She put her hands on the Standing Stone and could feel its energy.  She picked up some twigs and walked around the stone three times – backwards, as the myth dictated.

Feeling a little giddy, she threw the twigs down next to the stone; they formed her true love’s initials – D.W.
