Characters: Death (the original); Dean Winchester
Word count: 100
Summary: Dean is trying Death's patience, though he's not entirely unsympathetic.
Death frowned across the body.
“Dean,” he admonished, “could you try not to keep dying of food related disorders? I don’t appreciate bending the rules, even if the universe needs you. This is becoming a nuisance.”
Dean curbed the impulse to ask ‘Was it the salmon mousse?’ That might prove – permanently – fatal.
Instead he confessed, “Sam’s always saying to cut down on junk. But it tastes so good. You know how it is.”
Death sighed. “I know, but there is such a thing as moderation. Try dieting; it might enhance the occasional indulgence.”
Surprisingly, Sam died next; choking on peanuts.
